If you are not familiar with Virteom's eCommerce capabilities below is a tutorial on how to add a new product, and manage existing products in a Virteom powered site with the eCommerce plugins installed.
This how-to guide is meant to explain how to add a new product, edit an existing product, and delete a product.
First things first, you'll need to log-in to the back end of your Virteom powered website.
The first step in adding a new private page to your Virteom powered website is to log-in. Visit your website domain /virteom (Ex: https://yourdomain.com/virteom). Once you hit the log-in page, you'll need to enter your username and password.
Once you're logged-in,click 'Dashboard' from the top gray editor menu.
After clicking 'Dashboard' use the left sidebar menu to navigate over to 'Store'.
Now that the Store module is opened, to add, edit or delete products you need to navigate to 'Products'.
Once you're on the inventory page for products, you'll see a ledger of the products in your Store.
To add a new product, locate the 'Add New Product' button at the top of the page.
To edit a product, locate the inventory item and click 'Edit' next to it.
The information that can be added on the new product screen is the same information that can be edited.
And if you scroll...
After you click 'Edit' it will open 3 more panes for your product description.
Note: Once you click save both the drop-down and the special price will blank out. This is normal to allow you to rapidly add more special pricing. If you return to the special pricing area you will see all of the visitors that have special pricing.
Add a range to your bulk rate. We suggest starting with 2 because you would want the default price to be available if they only add one item to the art. The range is the number of these items they add to the cart. Then simply add the price they get for each unit at that quantity range in their cart. We'll magically do the rest for you.
Back on the main 'Products' screen, you'll find a 'Delete' button. Click this to delete a product.
Warning: Once you delete a product you cannot get it back.
