Want to change the order in which your navigation items appear? Want to remove or add a menu item? No worries, this is all possible within Virteom CMS. Rearranging menu items in virteom cms To start rearranging the order, your menu-items appear login to the back-end of your website.  Login to the back-end of your website by visiting (yourdomain.com)/virteom Enter Email Enter Password Click 'Login' Once you log in, click on 'Site Pages' or 'Navigation' from the menu. Once you arrive at your Navigation, you'll notice the pages of your website have a distinct hierarchy. The pages on your site show in a "tree" layout - meaning the topmost item is the main menu item, and the pages that appear below it (indented) are "children" of the menu items. This, in turn, is used to determine how the navigation on your website will appear. Is your website powered by Virteom CMS? Do your images look good on your laptop but not on your 4k monitor? Are your pictures a good size on desktop but become oversized or deformed on a mobile device? More than likely you’re using pixels to set the dimensions of your photos, but is that the best way? This article will explain how you should be sizing the images on your Virteom powered website so that they look good across all devices. As you make edits and additions to the pages of your website you find yourself adding images to support your content. Typically, the size of your image is too large for your page and with the popup picture below you set dimensions of your image using pixels: Setting your images dimensions using pixels is what makes your image stretch on your cell phone or from one screen to another. You don’t want to use pixels to set the dimensions of your images. For example: Here we have a picture of a tablet: Once we add it into the image uploader we see the width and height of this image is 1000px by 667px. If we kept it that size, it would be very large on the page and it would take up a lot of space. If it was viewed on a mobile device, it would appear stretched out and require you to scroll left and right. Are you stuck trying to use the editor but confused why you can't change the content within the box? Well, wonder no more. This follow along article explains how you can change the photo, text, button and link that is within these infoboxes. Log-in to your Virteom Powered website Obviously enough, you need to be logged in to edit the infoboxes. So, go to yourwebsite.com/virteom. Once you're logged in, access the Manager Now that you're logged in, you'll be greeted by your homepage. In top black Navigation click on Manager Accessing Modules from the Website Tools In the left hand panel Website Tools you'll see a item listed as Modules. Click on it. On the left you should see a dropdown of all the modules (or commonly known as plugins) that are installed on your website. They also display on the right hand side. 1. Or maybe you want to go back a few months later and make a revision to add some updated information. Well, don't fret - this how to article will explain exactly how to edit your blog post after you've hit publish in the Virteom CMS. Sign-in to your website Go to www.yourwebsite.com/virteom and sign in using your login credentials.   Access your Navigation Once you've logged into the back-end editor of your website, click on 'Navigation'.   Find the Blog Article you want to edit Now that you're in your navigation, you should see all the pages on your website. Look for the title of the blog that you want to edit - or if you've organized it as such, scroll down to the section of your navigation entitled 'Blog' and look through the titles to find the article that needs edited. So you really want to update the name of your page. It's the H1 on the page and it also is in your menu navigation at the top of your site. Well, how the heck are you supposed to achieve that? Do you need to change it in two places? Well, let us show you. It's actually quite easy! Navigate to the page whose title you'd like to update: As an example, this page is named - "Lawn Problem Solver" Virteom CMS: Click on "Editor"   edit the page title For Virteom cms: (black toolbar) Pull out the left menu area Click on the little black/white tab thing on the left    for rocketsites (gray toolbar): Click on 'Page Settings' that appears in your main editor toolbar: Virteom cms: (black toolbar) Click "Page Information" rocketsites (gray toolbar) click on 'page info' Here are your titles to edit Navigation Title is the title of the navigation  - this is what will show up on your menu at the top [where Learn is now, if you're on this page, for instance] This is what appears as the title on your page - which may be styled to output in a banner.  For example: The Browser Title is the title of the H1 title and the Icon at the top next to the favicon.  And they don't have to be the same [ see below...this customer has two different titles, fancy!] See how this looks virteom cms: (black toolbar) Click "SAVE" underneath Page Layout It is
